Storage and Extraction
We design and install complete solutions for the storage and extraction of bulk solid materials such as lime, activated carbon, carbonates, talc and other technical additives.

Dosage and weighing
We have extensive experience in the design, manufacturing and implementation of all types of bulk solid dosing and weighing systems, for both continuous and batch processing operations.
Particular relevance is given to the systems developed for the dosing of solid chemical additives. This patented system combines micro-dosing screw feeders with high-precision weighing scales, achieving measurement accuracies of up to 2 grams.

Mechanical transport
Within our bulk solid handling equipment portfolio, we highlight three main types of conveying systems:

Mixed
We offer a wide range of ploughshare mixers, specially developed for the production of dry mortar and other mineral-based products or their derivatives.
We also manufacture continuous mixers for the production of cement-treated aggregates, as well as moistening mixers designed to add and blend water with minerals or fine materials for improved handling.
Lime mixing systems for sludge treatment are also available.

Screening
SOTECMA manufactures equipment for mineral processing and screening, including industrial minerals, construction-related materials and metal mining applications, for both dry and wet processing operations.
You will find a wide range of industrial screening equipment for construction materials and minerals. Based on vibration technology, our portfolio includes feeders, screens and dewatering units, as well as gravity, magnetic and size separation systems. We also supply complete processes and turnkey installations.
We manufacture various types of screens, all based on linear motion vibration technology, with particular emphasis on multi-deck “SIZER” screens.
Within our range of vibrating machinery, SOTECMA also produces feeders and “GRIZZLY” type pre-screen feeders for different mineral processing applications.

ATEX equipment
ATEX legislation is a European directive that requires all company managers to control the risks related to the explosion of certain atmospheres. To this end, an explosion risk assessment is required in order to identify all areas where explosive atmospheres may form and to implement the necessary measures to prevent explosions.
We have an R&D department that allows us to develop new equipment or adapt existing solutions to the specific needs or applications of each client.
These developments can be applied to ensure compliance with ATEX regulations in any of its categories, both for existing installations and for new installations supplied by SOTECMA.
ATEX-Certified Equipment
At FDWATER, together with our technology partner SOTECMA, we design and adapt equipment and installations in compliance with the European ATEX Directive, ensuring protection against explosive atmospheres generated by combustible dust or flammable gases.

Development and Testing for Complex Products
FDWATER and SOTECMA design technical solutions for the storage, extraction, conveying and dosing of powdered products, both in standard installations and in special applications involving materials with complex flow behavior.
We work with a wide range of products used in water treatment, industrial processes and technical formulations:
